Overview

TeamFamily is a complete family organizer — calendar, tasks, shopping lists, emergency info and a private parent area — built on a local-first principle: all of your family’s data stays on your own devices. There are no central servers and no cloud account. This policy explains what data the app handles, how it stays on your devices, and your rights.

In one line: nothing about your family leaves your home. There is no server to send it to.

Data We Store (only on your devices)

TeamFamily stores the following only on your device, in encrypted local storage (AES-256). This data is never sent to us, because we operate no servers:

• Family member profiles (names, roles, colors, birthdays)
• Calendar events, appointments, vacations and the “who-drives-whom” planner
• To-dos, chores, allowance/points and their approval status
• Shopping lists and vacation packing lists
• Children’s wishlists
• Emergency contacts and medical information (allergies, blood type, medication)
• In the Parent Zone (separately encrypted, unlocked by biometrics/PIN): the household budget, gift plans, private notes, and the document/password vault

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email, or any personal information on any server
• We do not create user accounts — there is nothing to sign up for
• We do not track your location
• We do not use analytics, advertising, or fingerprinting SDKs
• We do not share, sell, or transmit any data to third parties

How Synchronization Works (no cloud)

When you use more than one device, TeamFamily synchronizes data directly between your own devices:

• At home: over your local Wi-Fi network, device-to-device. The data never reaches the internet.
• On the go: only when you choose to export an AES-256-encrypted file and share it through your own channel (email, messenger). Nothing is exported automatically and nothing passes through our infrastructure.

We never see, store, or relay any of this data.

Pricing

TeamFamily is free — every feature is available to everyone at no cost. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no advertising. Because we run no servers and collect no data, there is nothing to monetise: the app is free to use, period.

Children’s Privacy

TeamFamily is designed to be used by families, including children, under parental supervision. The app contains no advertising, no third-party tracking, and no social features. Children’s profiles, tasks and any data they enter remain local to the family’s devices. The Parent Zone (finances, gifts, vault) is encrypted and accessible only to a parent via biometrics or PIN.

Data Security & Deletion

All data is encrypted at rest with AES-256 and the encryption keys are held in your device’s secure hardware keychain (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). Because everything is local, you can delete all data at any time by uninstalling the app. There is no account to delete and no data on our servers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when new features are added. Changes are reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
